Timeless Textiles Gallery is a commercial gallery dedicated to showcasing fibre art. It is based in Newcastle and has been operating since August 2011. We understand that this is the only art gallery dedicated exclusively to fibre art in Australia.
Each year monthly exhibitions are held showing international, national
and local fibre artists.
A range of workshops (both beginner and master
classes) are held fortnightly to provide the opportunity for people to gain
fibre art skills, as well as 'find themselves' through creativity.
Our community based activities are a core part of our business and in
particular community based arts activities have been held successfully over the
last 6 years in celebration of International Women's Day (IWD). Each year, free
weekly workshops involve community members in creating an event for IWD.
